We, at phonic champs offer 3 levels of Jolly Phonics Training to match the child’s abilities. The Bud (level 1), The Bloom (level 2), The Blossom (level 3). On completion of three levels of Jolly Phonics, Jolly Grammar is introduced to make champions in grammar too.
THE BUD (Learning Letter Sounds)




The course is suitable for lower kindergarten children( aged 4 to 5) and the programme focuses on the following:

  • 1 Introducing 42 Jolly Phonic sounds
  • 2 42 Jolly Phonic songs and actions
  • 3 Differentiate between letter name and sound
  • 4 Brainstorm more words for each sound
  • 5 Blending the sounds
  • 6 Segmenting the word
  • 7 Matching activity on sounds
  • 8 Building vocabulary
  • 9 Listening to story and relating to sounds
  • 10 Correct letter formation and pencil hold
THE BLOOM (Read With Joy)




The course is suitable for upper Kindergarten children (aged 5 to 6) and the programme focuses on the following.

  • 1 Learning 42 sounds, actions and songs
  • 2 Learning alternative vowels
  • 3 Consonant blends and tricky words
  • 4 Spelling test
  • 5 Picture comprehension and creative writing
  • 6 Developing story telling ability
  • 7 Reading storybook with simple sentences
THE BLOSSOM (Reading Champions)




The course is best suited for children aged between 6 to 8 years. The training is given in two levels for class I and II students. This programme focuses on the following

  • 1 42 sounds and alternative vowels
  • 2 Spellings of tricky words
  • 3 Spelling rules
  • 4 Writing sentences based on pictures or concept
  • 5 Comprehension skills and creative writing
  • 6 Using Jolly dictionary
  • 7 Reading International storybooks independently
THE GRAMMAR CHAMPS




The Grammar champs classes develop linguistic competent students from class III to class V in 4 skills of English- speaking, listening, reading and writing. The learning objectives are

  • 1 Expertise in 8 parts of speech- Verb, Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Adverb, Preposition, conjunction and interjection.
  • 2 Active and passive voice
  • 3 The 5 basic patterns of sentence structure
  • 4 General session or Group activity includes group discussion and presentation on the given topic.
  • 5 Poster writing
  • 6 Poster drawing and describing in detail.
